Updated Polices for Minors and Non-Employees in Work Areas

OESO’s previous policy for Minors and Non-Employees in Work Areas was recently revised and separated into two separate policies (one for minors, and another for adults). The new policies provide a clearer outline of which hazardous activities are not allowed to be performed by non-Duke personnel or individuals under the age of 18. If you are planning to host minor(s) or adult non-employee(s) in your lab (including animal areas), makerspace, or patient care or industrial work area – please familiarize yourself with the updated policies linked below:
